DeKalb Kids Magazine is a free family publication created especially for the children and families of DeKalb County, Alabama.
Our mission is to spark curiosity, encourage imagination, and make learning fun for young readers throughout our community. Each issue is packed with kid-friendly stories, activities, fun facts, educational content, seasonal ideas, and local features designed to bring families together.
DeKalb Kids was inspired by the belief that children learn best when they are engaged, encouraged, and given opportunities to explore the world around them. In a time when families are surrounded by screens and distractions, we wanted to create something parents and children could sit down and enjoy together.
Our goal is to create a publication that families look forward to reading and one that helps foster a lifelong love of learning.
As DeKalb Kids grows, we look forward to celebrating the people, places, schools, businesses, and traditions that make DeKalb County such a special place to call home.
DeKalb Kids Magazine is made for families, inspired by community, and created to help kids learn, explore, and dream.
